67TH TROOP CARRIER SQUADRON
433RD TROOP CARRIER GROUP

The Squadron was constituted as the 67th Troop Carrier Squadron on 22 January 1943 and activated and attached to the 433rd Troop Carrier Group on 9 February 1943.

The 76th Troop Carrier Squadron was posted to the following locations during WWII:-

9 Jun 1943 Laurinburg-Maxton AAB, NC
1-12 Aug 1943 Baer Field, Ind
27 Aug 1943 Port Moresby, NG
5 Nov 1943 Nadzab, NG
abt 10 Jul 1944 Hollandia, NG
abt 20 Oct 1944 Biak
18 Jan 1945 Tanauan, Leyte
abt 1 Jun 1945 Clark Field, Luzon

Operated C-47s 1943 to 1945 and C-46s 1944 to 1945.
