ALBANY REMOTE RECEIVING BUILDING

IN AUSTRALIA DURING WWII
The Albany Remote Receiving Building was located just over 4 kilometers south east of the Albany Airfield in or near the Western Power high voltage substation at Federal Street.
Other RAAF WWII Sites in the area were:-
• 35 Radar Station RAAF, Stony Hill (previously at Subiaco, WA)
• High Frequency Direction Finding (HF/DF) Station, Albany Airfield (located just SE of the Albany Airfield)
• Operations and Transmitting Building RAAF located on the property near the Albany Highway (Part Lot 6981), 1 kilometer NW of Albany Airfield.
