United States Operational Training Unit No. 1 (Provisional-Bomber) also known as USOTU No. 1 (Prov-B) was activated at Charleville in western Queensland on 1 July 1942 under General Orders No. 24 dated 1 July 1942 by the order of Lieutenant General, George H. Brett, Headquarters Allied Air Forces, Southwest Pacific Area.

US Army Station Lists show this unit under the name Operational Training Group #1.
