Dear Peter,

Firstly I would like to congratulate you, your page about 460 Sqn is without doubt, one of the best that I had had the privilege to see.

My name is Andy, and although I come from England, I now live in Mülheim Germany.

At the moment I am writing a book about the raid on Mülheim (22/23 June 1943). During this rail 7 members of 460 Sqn lost their lives, when their Lancaster III (EE166 AR-) crashed at 0130 hrs at a mill in Mülheim-Heißen.

F/O L E Harrison RAAF
Sgt J S Callcut
Sgt W H Bartlett
P/O R J Heffernan RAAF
Sgt S K Browm
Sgt K A C Cotton
Sgt R J Lockrey RAAF

Have you got any information about those men that lost their live in this operation, or any information at all about Operation Mülheim.
(Eye witness accounts, stories photos ect).

I have some access to RAF documentation, so if there is any information that you would like researched I would be more than willing to help.

Yours with best wishes

Andy Pratley
