CRASH OF A VOUGHT KINGFISHER
IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA
ON 21 OCTOBER 1943
USN Vought OS2U-2, BU No. 3077, of VS-61 Squadron US Navy based at Perth, crashed somewhere in Western Australia on 21 October 1943 during an instrument training flight. It was piloted by Arthur W. Snively, with crew member Haywood B. Lopez.
