COLLISON OF TWO AVRO ANSONS
AT MALLALA, SA
ON 13 FEBRUARY 1942

Avro Anson A4-31 collided with Avro Anson A4-6 at about 0815 hours C.A.S.T. on 13 February 1942, after taking off from Mallala, Airfield in South Australia. Both aircraft were attached to 6 Service Flying Training School 6 SFTS at Mallala,

Two crew members in Anson A4-31 were killed as follows:-

LAC Keith Allan Mustow ( 409005) - Student pilot
LAC Keith Grant Hayter (408993) - Student pilot

Two crew members in Anson A4-6 were killed as follows:-

LAC Stanley Livingstone McFarlane (408920) - Pilot
LAC Charles Tilley Collet Shopee (408742)
