CRASH OF A DH-84 DRAGON
AT PARAFIELD, SA 
ON 11 MARCH 1943

On 11 March 1943, a DH-84 Dragon, A34-48, of 34 Squadron RAAF, crashed after taking off at Parafield airfield in South Australia, killing the crew of two.

CREW KILLED

Pilot Officer Milton Hubert Conkey (413741), married, aged 29 yrs, a Manufacturer from 99 Sutton Street, Cootamundra, NSW.

Leading Aircraftman Bernard James Hovey (54621), married, 29 yrs old, of Avon Park, Ceres, Victoria.
