DAMAGE TO AN A-24 DAINTLESS
ON THE GROUND
AT CHARTERS TOWERS, QLD
ON 6 APRIL 1942

A-24 Dauntless #41-15779 c/n868, probably of the 8th Bomb Squadron, 3rd Bomb Group, was damaged beyond repair on the ground at Charters Towers Airfield in north Queensland on 6 April 1942.
