CRASH LANDING OF A LOCKHEED
HUDSON
AT COEN IN NORTH QUEENSLAND
ON 29 JUNE 1942
Lockheed Hudson A16-155 (#41-23599) of 32 Squadron RAAF crashed whilst landing at Coen Airfield in north Queensland when it undercarriage collapsed.
The Hudson was repaired at Coen and issued to No. 5 Aircraft Depot at Garbutt Airfield in Townsville on 24 August 1942.

NOTE:- This reference incorrectly shows the date of the crash as 13 May 1942 which was actually the date the aircraft was received by 32 Squadron RAAF.
