FORCED LANDING OF A TIGER MOTH
AT ARCHERFIELD AIRFIELD,
BRISBANE, QLD,
ON 11 MARCH 1941

Tiger Moth N.9135 of 2 Elementary Flying Training School 2 EFTS at Archerfield, force landed in a paddock adjacent to Archerfield Airfield, Brisbane at 0812 hours on 11 March 1941. The incident was caused by a temporary fuel blockage. There was no damage to the aircraft. The crew, Flying Officer Kenneth Raymond MacDonald (433612) and LAC Ivan WIlliam Bray Lindley (404973) were both uninjured.
