One of our Mariners flew over to the Gulf today (from Cairns) to rescue the crew and passengers of a Douglas Dakota which had belly-landed on a beach.
Norm Weeding advised that #42-100625 c/n 19088 crashed at an unknown location on 6 March 1945. This may be the above crash perhaps.
