FORCED LANDING OF P-40E
KITTYHAWK
AT LIVINGSTONE AIRFIELD, NT
ON 27 NOVEMBER 1942
On 27 November 1942, P40E-65 of 77 Squadron RAAF, piloted by Sergeant George Bellinge Rich, made a forced landing at Livingstone Airfield after a main bearing failure. The pilot was uninjured.
