CRASH OF A DOUGLAS A-24-DE DAUNTLESS
AT MARANBOY, NT
ON 8 JANUARY 1942

Douglas A-24-DE Dauntless #41-15803, of the 91st Bomb Squadron, 27th Bomb Group, 3rd Air Force crash landed at Maranboy, 30 miles south east of Katherine in the Northern Territory following an engine failure. The aircraft was officially condemned on 7 November 1942.
