FORCED ALIGHTING OF KINGFISHER
ON MORUYA RIVER, NSW
ON 25 DECEMBER 1944

On 25 December 1944, Pilot Officer Payne, of 107 Squadron RAAF, forced alighted at Moruya River in New South Wales with engine trouble. D.C.s were jettisoned, but crew safe and aircraft undamaged.
