CRASH OF A CORSAIR
7 MILES SOUTH OF GOULBURN, NSW
ON 29 JULY 1945
Sub-Lieutenant (A) RNVR Ronald George Kennett of 1845 Squadron, HMS Nabbington, was killed on 29 July 1945 when his Corsair KD275 crashed into a field on an upward roll from 100 feet, and burst into flames, 7 miles south of Goulburn in New South Wales.
He was buried in Plot B, Row B, Grave 14 of Nowra War Cemetery.
