CRASH OF A MOTH MINOR
AT OR NEAR DENILIQUIN AIRFIELD, NSW
ON 21 OCTOBER 1942

RAAF DH-94 Moth Minor A21-14 of 7 SFTS at Deniliquin airfield in New South Wales made a forced landing at 1630 hours on 21 October 1942 after an engine failure during instructor's navigation test.
The pilot, Flight Lieutenant John Wilton Tuckfield (016023 & 400107) and his crew member Flying Officer Frederick James Gillespie (407576) were both uninjured. The undercarriage and mainplane and airscrew were damaged.
Can anyone help me with more information on this crash?
