I was assigned to the 8th Photo Recon, Johnson Air Base in Japan in early 1947. It seems that the 8 Ballers to mapping process in the Pacific long after hostilities ceased. We had the Northrup F-15A Reporters. I really beleive an addendum to your history should be pursued.
