I am looking for information on Elmer T. Hallam, he was a member of the 530th Bombardment squadron, 380th Bombardment Group. They were reported missing on 12 Sep 1943, by Casualty Message # 259067, dated 16 Sep 1943 while flying pay status over Makassar, Celebes, NEI. Captain David Lippincott was also aboard and his remains were recovered, however, Elmer Hallam's were not. Would appreciate any information that you might have on him if any. It was a B-24 plane.
I am researching this for my brother-in-law who was Elmer's cousin. He would like to know what happened to him.
Your web site is the closest I've found for the information I'm researching.
Thank you,

Can anyone help me with more information?
