My father was a member of the 22nd. He served between 1943 and 1945. He married my mother over there, she was from Rockhampton.

Do you have any documentation or a site to find information on the 22nd and its unit history?

My father was a member of the 22nd TCS between May 7, 1943 – November 11, 1945. He was assigned as "F" Flight commander on November 20, 1944, by  Special Orders 37 which reorganized the squadron under Captain William D. Wood Jr.

I have most of his orders and flight log data but am unable to connect some of the information with the write-up in the "Moresby to Manila Via Troop Carrier" book by Angus and Robertson LTD 1945. This book jumps between the 374th TCG and another group.

Do you have any other sources for data on the 22nd's movements and participation in combat drops?

Any help will be greately appreciated.
