AT PARKES IN NEW SOUTH WALES

RAAF Wirraway A20-362, CA-8 (CAC Constructor's No. 563) of No. 8 Operational Training Unit (8 OTU) at Parkes in New South Wales was badly damaged in May 1945 when it collided on the ground at Parkes with RAAF Spitfire A58-538. The Spitfire was also badly damaged.

Wirraway A20-362 was converted to components in June 1945. It had originally been delivered to the RAAF in September 1941.
