CRASH OF A B-24 LIBERATOR
IN SHALLOW WATER OFF MORNINGTON ISLAND

A USAAF B-24 Liberator, crashed just off the beach on Mornington Island on a date unknown.  It was found submerged in shallow water.

NOTE:- Bob Livingstone, a recognised B-24 expert, is not aware of a B-24 going down in this area.
