REDLYNCH STAGING CAMP
CAIRNS AREA, NORTH QUEENSLAND
IN AUSTRALIA DURING WWII
Redlynch Staging Camp was at 16.880568, 145.689944, approximately 1 km from the Redlynch train station. Scott MacLeod was introduced to the former camp site by another metal detectorist who had found a lot of Uniform brass in the area. Scott then found some nice finds like some small Rising Suns and curved 'AUSTRALIA' badges.
