AT MOUNT COOT-THA NAVAL MAGAZINE
AND MINE ASSEMBLY DEPOT
MOUNT COOT-THA, BRISBANE, QLD

The new Non Magnetic Hut of the US Naval Magazine and Mine Assembly Depot on Mount Coot-tha was located on a a small hill on the left hand side of the road to the Assembly Plant building. The concrete slab for the former Non Magnetic Hut is now used for a post WWII Bush Chapel.

A Tawny Frogmouth spotted in a tree
near the track to the Bush Chapel

As you can see, the Tawny Frogmouth was
not very high in the tree and close to the track.
