Terry Sullivan told me that as a 17 year old, he signed up to join the Army at the Exhibition Grounds in Brisbane on 25 June 1942. He slept on the floor of a building at St. Laurence's College on his first night in the Army.
The Leave and Transit Depot relocated to the former US Army Camp Moorooka on 28 March 1945.
