ENGINE OVERHAUL WORKSHOP RAAF
HAMILTON ROAD, MOOROOKA
BRISBANE, QLD
DURING WW2

The RAAF built an Engine Overhaul Workshop on the corner of Hamilton Road and Anson Street, Moorooka during WW2. The Engine Overhaul workshop was operated by Australian National Airways Pty. Ltd.

The buildings are still in existence in November 2005 but it I understood they may be earmarked for demolition in late 2006. They are used by a number of different businesses.

I was advised by Kathryn Collins on 21 November 2008 that these sheds are now gone and some new residential units "Moorooka Links" are now being built on the site.
