The American Red Cross Service Cub - Canteen and Recreation Hall was located in the old Australia Workers Union Hall in Denham Street, Townsville, during WWII. The AWU Hall has since disappeared and is now a car park in Denham Street. It was very popular as a dance venue during WWII.
