ARCHERFIELD RADIO SITE
NEAR BOUNDARY ROAD,
COOPERS PLAINS, BRISBANE, QLD
WAS IT USED DURING WWII?
There was a Radio Site or Wireless Site located just south of Boundary Road, Coopers Plains that can be seen in the 1946 Brisbane City Council aerial photographs. The shadow of two large wireless masts can be seen in the photo below. This former site is now bounded by Boundary Road to the north, Weaver Street to the south, Postle Street to the west and Celtic Street to the east.
