Dear sir:
I am carrying out research into the allied bombing campaign against Germany during WWII, and I need specific information about the different squadrons and their operations under Bomber Command. I am unable to go to England, so I would be grateful if you could supply me with the following information:-
-the number of operations over German territory between 1943 and
1945
-target and results
-tons dropped
-own and enemy losses.
I realise that I´m asking a lot, but for me this information is indispensable for demonstrating the importance of the RAF in the final victory over Germany. (I do not have ready access to the necessary information for Jose, and time does not permit me to assist. - Can anyone else help Jose? - Peter Dunn)
