Hi, Peter,
My name is Miguel Angel Hermida, and I am parish priest in Galicia ( Spain) During the second world war a Lancaster bomber shot down here in our Village. The Lancs was the R5543 belonged at 61 Sqdn Bomber Command and her based in Syerston. The crew all dead, and the Sargent V.J.Watson (Royal Australian Air Force ) also dead here. We want to make an exposition about this events in our church, but do not have any photograph of the crew or aircraft. Please, do you know any database over crew lost (only RAAF)?. Is our intention connecting your family (Mr Watson) and obtain any photograph if it is possible.
Thanks for your dedications.
