Peter,
I more or less stumbled across your 460 Squadron page. I was following up something else and there was a link to it which for reasons unknown I followed through. It was quite eerie to then go to the Roll Of Honour and see the name Sgt.J.C.Plummer. John Plummer was my ex-wife's father. His widow Alison, my ex-wife, Dale and son James live in Sydney.
I understand that John was a printer working for Fairfax before joining up and that he was also well known in competitive swimming.
Alison may be a source of more information.
I noticed that he died on June 17, 1943, the closest mission being June 16. Could there be a mission missing?
Thanks for an excellent home page.
Regards
Richard Dobie
Can anyone help me with more information?
