EXCHANGE
ANTIL PLAINS, NEAR TOWNSVILLE, QLD
DURING WW2
Members of the 61st Battalion building an underground signal exchange at Antil Plains
The Cameron Highlanders, the 61st Battalion, built an underground signals exchange at Antil Plains during WW2. There was a military airfield built at Antil Plains during WW2.
Is there still any evidence of this underground Signals Exchange?
