Hi Peter,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I didn't keep the previous e-mail on file so I'll start again. My Father, Doug Sear flew with 460 in 1944-45 most of the time in Queenie for 24 missions and managed to get back in one piece with the aircraft at Wars end. He has kept his log book, photo album and other bits and pieces safely tucked away and I have now convinced him to pass a lot of these details to the relevant associations so that an overall collection can be put together and maintained for the future generations to see. Have been in touch with a guy called Larry Wright based in Canada who has started a Bomber Command Historical Society. You may know of Larry and the Nanton Museum which has the details of the last Lancasters and their service records. 26 still around! He would be most interested to gather info on 460 to add to their collection. I'm sending him Dad's details to get the ball rolling.  All Dad's crew are still on deck as of last year and would love to see them reunited before it's too late. What you might call a big hurdle! However if you would like his details and copies of docs. etc. then let me know and I will get them to you.  It's good to know that there are a few of us out there to keep the memories alive. Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards.

Bryan.

Hi Peter,

sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Have been on hols. for a few weeks and have only just posted the details regarding "Q" Queenie to Greg Harrison with the request that he forward a copy to you. Photo's are on disk, all other details are on paper so will let him arrange everything to suit. You can probably download it from his site at the end of the day! Once you have it , give me a shout. Thanks,

Bryan.

Can anyone help me with more information?
