FROM: Thierry DESBOIS (tdesbois.allium@wanadoo.fr)
Hi,
I'm looking for any kind on information on a bombing mission of the 460 Squadron during WWII.
Specially : Briefing, Debreifing, Weather conditions
Date : 07 May 44
N° of Squadron crew operation : 12
Target : Bruz Ammunition Dump
I know that the bombs fall on the village of Bruz instead of hitting the German target and I want to know what was the cause : clouds, German Flak, pilots, bombers.
Thank you very much in advance,
Best regards
Thierry DESBOIS

My parents (and I) came to Bruz village in 1972, they discover the "tragic" history of this village destroyed by a bombing during a night of May 1944. People got info from RAF bombing command, these reports said that it was just a mistake of the "bombing zone markers" but some guy in Bruz today are not agree with this version.
So I want to get most info from real bomber men who were in the aircraft during this mission. Just to see the real version.
Thank you for your help

Can anyone help me with more information?
