This E-Book on a CD contains 214 color digitally-rendered profiles of aircraft of the 5th Air Force. Along with coverage of mainstream airplanes which complimented the Fifth's ranks, also profiled are the more rare types which served, including the O-47A, L-4 and L-5, F-4 & F-5 Lightnings. UC-45, UC-64, B-18, Curtiss Falcon, & A-26. Even a Tiger Moth which served with the 49th Fighter Group in Darwin is included!

Each profile is meticulously detailed, few having been depicted elsewhere before. The text of 187 pages is both technical and historical, outlining the history and development of the multifarious color schemes and heraldry which decorated the Fifth's airplanes. Where appropriate, enlargements of nose-art and other markings are provided. So are signatures of many Fifth AF pilots, rendered from a visitor's log book formerly held at Amberley AFB, Australia. Japanese records were also consulted to complete histories where appropriate.
