CRASH OF A KITTYHAWK
AT HORN ISLAND

Kittyhawk

In about May 1944, RAAF P-40N Kittyhawk, A29-504 (#42-105352), crashed on take-off at Horn Island. This aircraft was delivered to the RAAF in September 1943.
