81 OTU

After 3 months at Leconfield and Acaster Malbis training on Air Speed Oxfords he was then assigned to an Operational Training Unit (81 OTU) on Whitley bombers at Whitchurch at the end of December 1942. He stayed there until mid March 1943.

Can anyone help me with more information?
