AVRO ANSON FORCE LANDED
AT GYMPIE SHOWGROUNDS, QLD
ON 5 JUNE 1944
On 5 June 1944, Avro Anson MG-728, was forced put down on Gympie showground due to bad weather. The undamaged Anson had to be dismantled as there was insufficient space for take-off.
