OVER BELGIUM ON 20/21 FEBRUARY 1945
460 SQUADRON RAAF
Lancaster PB471 (AR-F2) of 460 Squadron RAAF was shot down over Belgium on the evening of 20/21 February 1945 whilst on a bombing raid to Dortmund, Germany. Six crew members perished in the crash and Flying Officer Jenkins survived and evaded capture and eventually returned to duty.
