Andrew Turner contacted me on 28 March 2001 and told me that Lancaster ND674 was flown by J McCleery. Andrew told me that after the war McCleery became an industrial Chemist and never flew again. He spent the last years of his working life at the Sydney Water Board were he became a great friend of Andrew's father. Andrew believe he passed away in 2000.
