CRASH OF A KITTYHAWK
AT MILDURA AIRFIELD, VIC
ON 14 OCTOBER 1943

On 14 October 1943, RAAF P-40E Kittyhawk, A29-57, #41-13524, of 2 OTU Mildura, overshot the runway on landing at the Mildura airfield causing damage to the leading edge of the port wing, propeller and fuselage. 

This same aircraft was involved in 3 other crashes:-

Crashed 6 miles from Tooleybuc, near Swan Hill, VIC on 22 Mar 43

Crash near Mildura on 29 July 1943

Crashed near Mildura, VIC on 5 Dec 1944
