On 22 Match 1943, P-40E Kittyhawk, A29-57, #41-13524, of 2 OTU RAAF at Armidale, Victoria, crashed about 6 miles from Tooleybuc, near Swan Hill, in Victoria. The aircraft carried out a force landing due to student pilot navigational error.
This same aircraft was involved in 3 other crashes:-
