CRASH OF A BOOMERANG AT STRATHPINE, QLD
On 11 June 1943, Boomerang A46-100 (MH-T) of 83 Squadron crashed on landing at Strathpine air field just north of Brisbane. The pilot was uninjured. Both wings were damaged and the undercarriage and centre section were probably strained. It was sent to No. 3 AD at Amberley for repair.
Boomerang A46-100 was involved in another accident at Gove, NT on 20 November 1943.
