Dear Peter,
I have seen your website and thoroughly loved it.
I have just had the Presentation print of the "Commanding Officer's" Edition of Robert Taylor's "G" for George framed for my New Grand Father-in-law-to-be Retired Air Commodore Horton "Spike" Marsh CBE DFC. He commanded 460 Squadron in 1944 during the time in which "G" for George flew her last sortie.
I am proud to say that I have just gotten engaged to his Grand-Daughter. I have gotten to know him quite well over the past few years, a real Gentleman.
I'm going to be taking my PC to his place to show him some of the WW2 simulations that are available, as well as the plethora of information available on the 'net regarding 'George' and most of the theatres of war he found himself in.
I would like to say that it is so nice to see someone putting so much effort towards this cause.
Please feel free to email me, my address is Mark@massel.com.au.
Regards,
Mark Caine
