The Kolora Park Lagoon on the Woombye - Palmwoods road near the Railway Line at Palmwoods in southern Queensland provided a water supply point for up to 50,000 troops located in the Sunshine Coast and its hinterland during WW2. The location of today's drinking fountain at Kolora Park Lagoon is where the tank was located to gravity fill the numerous military water trucks during WW2.

Can anyone help me with more information?
