There was a large army camp in the London Bridge area near Tenterfield, NSW during World War II. Troops that had returned from the Middle East were camped here before they went to New Guinea. There was approximately 10,000 troops camped in the Tenterfield area during WW2.

There are also the remains of some WW2 Tank Traps about one kilometre up the road.

Can anyone help me with more information?
