DURING WW2
The HQ Camp for the Anti-aircraft Searchlight Batteries in Darwin was located at McMillan. It consisted of a series of corrugated iron huts of various sizes which were scattered in an irregular fashion in a clearing. It had a water tank installed on some high timber posts.
