REAR FUSELAGE AND EMPENNAGE
DURING WWII
The Newport Railway Workshops at Newport in Melbourne, Victoria was used during WWII to manufacture rear fuselages and empennages for the Bristol Beaufort wartime production effort. There was also apparently an underground production area.
Can anyone help me with more information?
