CRASH OF A B-26 MARAUDER AT ANTIL PLAINS, QLD
A B-26 Marauder, aircraft #40-1477 of 2 Squadron, 22nd Bombardment Group, crashed on 12 May 1942 due to a soggy, wet strip at Antil Plains airstrip near Townsville.
