CRASH OF A BRISTOL BEAUFORT
AT BENGWARDEN MASTHEAD BOMBING RANGE
ON 4 APRIL 1943
RAAF Mark VI Bristol Beaufort, A9-51 (RAF Serial No. T9603) of No 1 Operational Training Unit 1 OTU, crashed at Bengwarden masthead bombing range and was destroyed by fire on 4 April 1943.
Three crew were killed and two injured as follows:-
