Bristol Beaufort
RAAF Mark V Bristol Beaufort, A9-39 (RAF Serial No. T9591), ran through a boundary fence at an unknown location on 7 August 1942, after landing well down the flare path.
This aircraft was originally delivered to the RAAF in May 1942. It was "not taken up". It's hull was eventually sold for scrap to T. Carr & Co. in Sydney on 17 February 1953. John Keane told me that this aircraft was ex 1 AD.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I'd like to thank Rick Hanning and John Keane for their assistance with the above
information.
Can anyone help me with more information?
